UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State College of Engineering has named its student marshals for the spring 2022 commencement ceremony. One student is selected to represent each of the 14 majors associated with the college and the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) program.
Student marshals are selected for their outstanding academic achievement and contributions to engineering student life. They will lead the procession of the graduates from their major into the commencement ceremony, which will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, in the Bryce Jordan Center at University Park campus.
“The high caliber of our graduates is demonstrated by our student marshals, who are selected from an already impressive group of students,” said Justin Schwartz, Harold and Inge Marcus Dean in the College of Engineering. “Each student marshal has made a significant impact on Penn State and beyond — and will continue to make their mark on the world beyond graduation. We are proud to have each of them represent their engineering major at commencement.”
