Wangda Zuo honored with international society service award

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Wangda Zuo, professor of architectural engineering and of mechanical engineering, received the Exceptional Service Award from ASHRAE, formerly the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, in June at the society’s annual conference in Indianapolis.
The award recognizes members who have served the society faithfully and with exemplary effort, according to the society’s website. The individual must have been a full member or associate member for a minimum of ten years and be a past recipient of the Distinguished Service Award.
Zuo, who also is the associate director of research for the Global Building Network, received the Distinguished Service Award in 2017.
