Engineering staff member earns highest level of certification in thermography

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Christopher Bereznak, an electrical systems specialist in the Penn State Facilities Engineering Institute, earned his Level III Master Thermographer Certification, the highest recognized level in the thermography industry, from the Infrared Training Center. Through this certification program, Bereznak learned advanced thermographic inspection and application techniques and best practices related to infrared program management. Earlier this year, Bereznak received the College of Engineering Staff Advisory Committee Staff Professional Development Award, and he used the award to fund his certification.
