Engineering staff member receives professional development award

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Christopher Bereznak, an electrical systems specialist in the Penn State Facilities Engineering Institute, received a College of Engineering Staff Advisory Committee (SAC) Staff Professional Development Award. This award recognizes College of Engineering staff members who seek to advance their professional development by providing recipients with financial assistance to participate in professional development activities, such as conferences, workshops or non-credit classes. Bereznak plans to use the funds to obtain his Level-III Master Thermographer Certification, the highest recognized level in the thermography industry, from the Infrared Training Center.
