Vincent Meunier receives American Carbon Society lectureship award

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Vincent Meunier, department head of engineering science and mechanics and P.B. Breneman Chair and professor, has been selected as the 2026 Graffin Lecturer by the American Carbon Society (ACS), in recognition of his distinguished contributions to carbon science and engineering. 

Named in honor of George D. Graffin, a pioneer in the natural graphite industry, the lectureship recognizes excellence in carbon research and development and is sponsored by Asbury Advanced Materials. 

As the 2026 Graffin Lecturer, Meunier will present invited lectures at universities and research institutions across North America, sharing his research and fostering collaboration within the carbon science community.
