Swaroop Ghosh named associate editor of ACM Computing Surveys

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Swaroop Ghosh, Penn State professor of electrical engineering and computer science and engineering, has been named an associate editor of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Computing Surveys. 

The journal holds a 2024 impact factor of 23.88, ranking first in the “Computer Science, Theory & Methods” category. 

As an associate editor, Ghosh will oversee the peer review process for submissions in his areas of expertise, recruit and work with qualified reviewers and make editorial recommendations to help ensure the journal’s rigorous, fair and timely review standards. He will also collaborate with the editor-in-chief, senior associate editors and ACM staff to support the journal’s mission and continued leadership in the field.
