Undergraduate student receives Deep Foundations Institute scholarship

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Diana Deleon, a fourth-year undergraduate student studying civil engineering at Penn State, has been selected as a recipient of the 2025 Deep Foundations Institute (DFI) Educational Trust Penn State University Scholarship. Deleon received a $4,000 scholarship in recognition of her academic achievement and promise in the field of civil engineering.
The DFI Educational Trust supports and encourages students studying disciplines related to deep foundations by providing scholarships and opportunities to engage with industry professionals. The institute represents an international association of engineers, contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, project owners, educators and students involved in the design and construction of deep foundations and excavations.
