Penn State promotes 14 non-tenure-line College of Engineering faculty

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State has announced non-tenure-line faculty promotions, including for 14 College of Engineering faculty, effective July 1.
A list of tenure-line faculty promotions, effective July 1, is available here. The College of Engineering non-tenure-line faculty promotions are below.
- Benjamin Fehl, School of Engineering Design and Innovation, College of Engineering, has been promoted to assistant teaching professor.
The following individuals have been promoted to associate teaching professor:
- Griselda Conejo Lopez, School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, College of Engineering
- Adomas Povilianskas, Engineering Science and Mechanics, College of Engineering
- Suman Saha, School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, College of Engineering
- Nicolas Soria Zurita, School of Engineering Design and Innovation, College of Engineering
- Xiaozhen Wang, School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, College of Engineering
The following individuals have been promoted to teaching professor:
- Gary Aurand, Department of Chemical Engineering, College of Engineering
- Mahfuza Farooque, School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, College of Engineering
- Meredith Handley, School of Engineering Design and Innovation, College of Engineering
- Siu Ling Leung, Department of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering
- Angela Rothrock, Global Engineering, College of Engineering
- Su Yan, Department of Biomedical Engineering, College of Engineering, has been promoted to associate research professor.
The following individuals have been promoted to research professor:
- Michael Barringer, Department of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering
- Jeffrey Geuther, Department of Nuclear Engineering, College of Engineering
