What: Nathaniel Warner, associate professor of civil and environmental engineering, was quoted in a story on hazardous waste pollution found in the Sewickley Creek in Western Pennsylvania. Warner commented on his study that found radioactivity in freshwater mussels in the Allegheny River miles downstream of a wastewater treatment facility that had accepted fracking wastewater.
