Tak Sing Wong’s nature-inspired research featured as PNAS cover art

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Research led by Tak Sing Wong, professor of mechanical engineering and of biomedical engineering, was featured as the cover art for the April 2 issue of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America (PNAS). The study explored the development of next-generation optical materials inspired by the antireflective covering of a common backyard insect, the leafhopper.
