Ibukun Osunbunmi named 2024 IEEE ASEE Frontiers in Education New Faculty fellow

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Ibukun Osunbunmi, assistant research professor in the Penn State Leonhard Center, has been named a 2024 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) Frontiers in Education New Faculty fellow.  

The goal of the fellowship is “to recognize early career engineering and computing education scholars for the potential of their contribution to the field,” according to the website. As a fellow, Osunbunmi will attend the Frontiers in Education conference from Oct. 13-16 in Washington, D.C., where he will present a paper in a conference session. He will also create and present a poster about his career, teaching and research, and participate in all activities organized for the cohort of fellows.
