Xiaofeng Liu named fellow of the Environmental & Water Resources Institute

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. Xiaofeng Liu, associate professor of civil and environmental engineering, was named a fellow of the Environmental & Water Resources Institute.  

According to the institute, an EWRI fellow is “recognized by the field, and their peers, as a leader in water resources and/or environmental engineering.” Other criteria to advance to the grade of fellow include being a dues-paying member of EWRI for 10 or more years; active involvement in committees, conferences or journals; and mentoring, serving or providing “significant” public outreach to advance the education and understanding of the engineering and science related to EWRI’s mission.
