Eric Greenwood and Namiko Yamamoto named AIAA associate fellows

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Two Penn State aerospace engineering faculty members recently have been named American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) associate fellows.
Eric Greenwood, assistant professor of aerospace engineering, and Namiko Yamamoto, associate professor of aerospace engineering, were selected in part for “outstanding contributions to the arts, sciences or technology of aeronautics or astronautics,” according to the AIAA website.
Greenwood and Yamamoto, both of whom are affiliated with the Penn State Center for Acoustics and Vibration, will be recognized at an awards ceremony in January at the AIAA SciTech Forum in Orlando, Florida.
