Enrique Gomez selected as fellow for polymeric materials division of chemical society

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Enrique Gomez, interim associate dean for equity and inclusion and professor of chemical engineering, was selected as a 2024 fellow by The American Chemical Society Division of Polymeric Materials: Science and Engineering (PMSE). According to the society’s website, fellowships honor PMSE members who made significant contributions to polymer material science and engineering. According to the award announcement, Gomez earned the distinction through his “pioneering contributions to the molecular level understanding of polymer structure and properties through creative combination of advanced microscopy and scattering techniques.”
