Mechanical engineering graduate student receives National Academies fellowship

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Luis Delgado Jr., a mechanical engineering doctoral student, is the recipient of a 2024 Christine Mirzayan Science & Technology Policy Graduate Fellowship. This National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine fellowship program is a full-time, hands-on training and educational program for early career professionals. Starting in March, Delgado will spend 12 weeks at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine in Washington, D.C., learning about science and technology policy and the role that scientists and engineers play in advising the nation.
