Pennsylvania Secretary of Transportation speaks at student-organized event

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Pennsylvania Secretary of Transportation Michael Carroll will speak at the Institute of Transportation Engineers’ (ITE) Student Leadership Summit (SLS) for the Mid-Colonial District of ITE, hosted by the ITE Student Chapter at Penn State. The event is happening now on the University Park campus from Nov. 15-16.
The SLS is the largest student-led transportation meeting open to students and professionals across the United States. Since the first summit held in 2014, the SLS has helped foster leadership skills, promote professional development and facilitate valuable career and networking opportunities for attendees in the field of transportation engineering.
The event features a variety of panels, workshops, networking opportunities, student competitions and more, including the featured keynote speech from Carroll.
