UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Undergraduates encounter a newly renovated lab experience through the Mechanical Engineering Knowledge Lab. The redesign made possible by alumni, industry partners and friends transformed the 5,700-square-foot Reber Building basement into a hub for learning and innovation. The ME Knowledge Lab is complete with 3D printers; tool storage and rental; multidisciplinary experimentation and instructional space; virtual reality experiences; the Autonomous Vehicle lab; and the Human-Centered Robotics lab. This fly-through virtual tour provides a look at some of the hands-on, collaborative work made possible by this reimagined space.
