Arthur Motta named honorary member of international scientific association

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Arthur Motta, professor of nuclear engineering and of materials science and engineering, was named the 2023 Honorary Member of the Société Française de Métallurgie et de Matériaux (SF2M), a French non-profit scientific association for metallurgy and materials. The distinction honors scientists, engineers or technicians who have rendered “outstanding services in the fields of the association,” according to the SF2M website.
