Biomedical engineering student receives presentation award at conference

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. Sonika Kohli, a biomedical engineering undergraduate student and Schreyer Honors Scholar at Penn State, received an Outstanding Presentation Award at the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minoritized Scientists. Kohli conducts research in the Medina Group, led by Scott Medina, the William and Wendy Korb Early Career Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering. Her presentation discussed research on the feasibility of 3D printing for skeletal muscle engineering.
