Christine Kirchhoff to collaborate on $5.6M climate resiliency grant

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Christine Kirchhoff, associate professor of civil and environmental engineering and of law, policy and engineering at Penn State, will serve as a co-principal investigator on a $5.6 million grant to develop adaptation pathways for island communities vulnerable to rising sea-levels. The grant was awarded through the U.S. Department of Defense’s Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative.
