Electrical engineering alumna delivers keynote at TEDxPSU event

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Renee Frohnert, Penn State electrical engineering alumna, was an invited speaker at the TEDxPSU annual conference on Feb. 12 in Schwab Auditorium. TEDxPSU is a student-run event where Penn State students, faculty, staff and State College community members gather for a full day of interactive talks that cover a wide variety of topics. This year’s event featured 10 speakers from various backgrounds and fields that delivered presentations focused on the theme of “Blurring the Line.” Frohnert, who is a business leader, entrepreneur and influencer in the aerospace industry, spoke about the importance and challenges of being a woman in STEM and her experience working on various space missions for NASA.
