Penn State biomedical engineers attend Biomedical Engineering Society meeting

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Nearly 40 students and faculty members from the Penn State Department of Biomedical Engineering attended the 2022 Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) Annual Meeting in San Antonio on Oct. 12-15. According to the BMES website, the BMES Annual Meeting brings together members of the biomedical engineering community to celebrate BMES members’ contributions in research, teaching, education and the workforce. The 2022 meeting featured events focused on diversity, equity and inclusion, poster sessions, plenary sessions, workshops, networking events and more. The Department of Biomedical Engineering had a booth at the meeting where attendees could learn more about biomedical engineering at Penn State and the research being conducted in the department.
