Penn State architectural engineers serve on editorial team for new book

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Three faculty and one student from the Penn State Department of Architectural Engineering served on the editorial team for a recently published book, Automation and Robotics in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Industry. The book, which includes contributions from experts across the field, focuses on current and future construction robotics and the applications of robotics, autonomous vehicles and human-perceptive machines at construction sites. The book was published by Springer, a global publisher of scientific, technical and medical media.
The editorial team from Penn State’s Department of Architectural Engineering includes Somayeh Asadi, associate professor and graduate programs officer; Mahmoud Habibnezhad, postdoctoral researchers; Houtan Jebelli, assistant professor; and Shayan Shayesteh, doctoral student. SangHyun Lee, professor and John L. Tishman Faculty Scholar and associate chair of research for the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Michigan, also served as an editor for the book.
